Visitors
The Martial Rose Library welcomes members of the public, staff, students and researchers from other institutions and anyone wishing to use the Sybil Campbell and Thorold and Lyttelton Collections.
Main Collection
Members of the public
Members of the public are entitled to reference only access to the library. Please ask to sign the Visitor's Book at the main library desk.
Alumni
Former students are entitled to reference only access to the Library. Please ask to sign the Visitor's Book at the library desk.
Students and staff from other universities (SCONUL Access)
Staff, students and researchers from other universities who have a SCONUL Access card (band A, B or C) can borrow up to 5 standard loan books from the Library. Please bring your University ID card, SCONUL Access card and a passport-sized photograph to the main library desk and fill in this form.
You should obtain your SCONUL Access card from your home institution library. Further information can be found at on the SCONUL website.
Full-time undergraduates from other institutions are entitled to reference only access to the library. Please ask to sign the Visitor's Book at the main library desk.
Special Collections
The University of Winchester also retains two collections of materials for specialist researchers.
