Students and money

At Winchester, helpful financial advice is readily available and we have a wide range of support on offer to students.

The University of Winchester has a dedicated Student Finance team who can assist and advise students with any questions they have about funding their studies. Working closely with Student Services and other departments in the University, we endeavour to make all aspects of student finance as clear and accessible as possible.

The Student Finance team consists of Paul Baker and Anne-Claire Lord. To contact them email studentsandmoney@winchester.ac.uk

"I always encourage students to plan their finances carefully. Have a good idea of what is available to you and a budget for what you are going to spend. Being confident about your financial situation will allow you to concentrate on the most important thing - your qualification" - Paul Baker, Finance Officer

These pages are designed to let you look at the financial considerations for each type of course on offer, from Foundation degree to Postgraduate study.

Contained in each section will be information covering areas such as:

  • What the tuition fee will be
  • What support is on offer from the University
  • What the government may have on offer in the form of loans and grants

You can also contact the Student Finance team on +44 (0) 1962 827008.
