Our vision
Our vision outlines what we see the role of Learning and Teaching to be across the University of Winchester, it sets out our goals and aims, and defines who will be involved in achieving this.
Our vision is driven by the desire to affirm excellence in Learning and Teaching (L&T) at the heart of all University of Winchester activities, to expand best practice out of the classroom to inform decision making at all levels within the University. Teamwork is the key to this approach and we will continue to support staff through all faculties in achieving this. We will continue to extend the range of external partners we work with, and develop our research profile within the national and international L&T community.

Understanding our students’ needs, supporting staff in their learning and teaching research and professional development, and creating a dynamic learning environment are the keys to our approach. The Senate L&T Committee, the Learning and Teaching Development Unit (LTDU) and staff in all faculties work to engender best practice and support colleagues and students.
