Our Open Days are a great opportunity to find out what studying at Winchester is all about. They provide the chance to explore the campus, find out more about the subject you are interested in and meet staff and students.

Our Open Days begin at 9am and conclude at 3pm, so we recommend arriving early to make the most out of your day at Winchester and to allow time to take a short stroll into our beautiful, historic and lively city centre.
Open Days are packed full of talks and activities. The day begins with a Welcome Talk which introduces the University and our values, aims and achievements. You can then attend subject talks and meet the tutors from the programme you are interested in.You will be able to tour our learning and teaching facilities and view our accommodation with a current student as well as speak to staff about important matters such as student finance and support services.
The programme will be availble to download in the next few weeks. It will be also given to you when you sign-in on the day but you may want to look at it in advance to help you plan your day.
When you arrive on campus please come to The Stripe building on King Alfred Campus to receive your programme and your Open Day bag.
Welcome Talk information
The time of your Welcome Talk will be confirmed in both the email and text message that we sent you when you booked. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your Welcome Talk is due to begin to allow you to complete check in, pick up information about the day and enjoy some refreshments. Welcome Talks take place on our King Alfred Campus.
If your journey is delayed...
If your journey is delayed and you miss your Welcome Talk, don't worry, please come to The Stripe building on the King Alfred Campus to check in, where you will be given all the information you need to start the day.
Maps and directions
The maps and directions below have been specifically designed for our Open Day visitors and we hope contain the information you need on how to find the University by car or public transport, information on our car parks and a campus map which details the buildings used during Open Days. We would strongly advise printing the relevant maps for your journey to help you find your way.
Parking on campus is very limited and requesting parking when booking does not guarantee you will be allocated a space. If you have been allocated a space, we will email an E-Permit to you the week before the event which includes information on the car park that you have been allocated. You will need to bring it with you to display in your vehicle. The maps above will help you to find the campus and your allocated car park.
If, due to demand, we have not been able to allocate you a parking space, we recommend the the Winchester Park and Ride (postcode SO21 2FG) or Tower Street Car Park (postcode SO23 8TA).
If you need any assistance planning your day, have any queries or wish to discuss your booking, please contact the Student Recruitment Team on 01962 827543 or at email@example.com
If none of our Open Day dates are suitable and you would like to visit the University at another time, you can book onto a Campus Tour where our Student Ambassadors will show you around the campus and also share their experiences of studying and living in Winchester.
