Administered by the Careers Service, the JobShop advertises part-time paid work and vacation work, either on campus or in Winchester and surrounding areas. The JobShop also advertises full-time graduate job vacancies and internships suitable for final-year students to apply for.
We advertise all JobShop vacancies on our online jobs database. The database is on the University's internal portal to protect the jobs for Winchester students, so you will not be able to access the database until you have enrolled at the University and have your IT password. When you see a job that interests you, you will be asked to contact the employer directly in most cases. Last year the JobShop advertised over 500 vacancies with a wide range of opportunities.
Typical part-time vacancies include: working with the University Campus and Conference Services or other departments in a variety of roles; jobs within the local area such as retail, childcare, bar and office work. Work can be part-time, temporary and also seasonal.
