Who can apply?
The Exchange programme is open to students from our ten 'exchange partner' American Universities: University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire; University of Southern Maine; Southern Oregon University, Alfred University, Shenandoah University, Georgia College State University, Montana State University Billings, Lander University, Eastern Illinois University and Westminster College.
The Visiting programme is open to students from our partner universities and also any student registered on a recognised programme of study at an international university or higher education institution. Please note tuition fees are payable for this programme.
The Erasmus exchange is open to students from European institutions with which we have a bilateral agreement.
Normally students must be at least 18 years of age on 31 December of the year of admission. Students should be registered on a recognised programme of student at a university of higher education institution
How and when to apply?
If you have not already been nominated by your home university exchange co-ordinator, please contact email@example.com
to check whether a nomination is required.
If you have already been nominated, please complete the 'Winchester Application Form'
and 'Module Selection Form'
(on the right hand menu) and arrange for your home university exchange co-ordinator to email them to firstname.lastname@example.org
These forms do not have to be posted separately.
All students, with the exception of exchange and visiting students from American partner universities, must also complete an 'Accommodation Application' (on the right hand menu).
Please note that places on Study Abroad at Winchester are limited and students are advised to apply as early as possible.

- For Semester 2, 2016/2017 - applications must be received by 25th October 2017.
All applications must be 2.8 minimum Grade Point Average (GPA).
If English is not your first language, you must provide one form of evidence of your English language competence from the list below and enclose with your application:
IELTS – Minimum overall score of 6, including 6 in Academic Writing or TOEF IBT 80 (19 in writing).
an Overseas GCE O level in English language at Grade A – C or equivalent qualification
Or an academic reference to validate your English language skill.
