The Link Gallery
Our main exhibition space, The Link Gallery (photo), was opened in 2001 and has a changing programme of exhibitions by contemporary artists based in Hampshire and further afield. Work from the University's permanent and loan collections including paintings, photographs, textiles, mixed media and sculpture can be found in several buildings across the University. There are also occasional displays in the foyer of The Stripe, our main lecture venue on the King Alfred Campus.
The Cosmic Walk
The Cosmic Walk, located behind the West Downs Campus, is a theological attempt to place our feet in the unfolding story of the cosmos. A number of pieces displayed aim to represent our participation in the birth and unfolding of the universe and to reflect upon that which we call the Divine.
The Art Trail
The University is proud to present the Art Trail, a walking tour of the wealth of artwork on display around our King Alfred and West Downs campuses, in addition to the Link Gallery exhibitions.
The collection of artworks around our buildings and grounds is a celebration of one of our core values, creativity, and a recognition of the importance of the role of creativity in delivering our mission. The Art Trail, which spans almost the entire history of the University, offers something for every artistic taste.
