Exhibiting in the Student Centre Gallery
Entry is open to recent graduates and employees of the University as well as all current students and staff. Please see below for details of how to submit artwork.
We are now accepting submissions of artwork for the fifth Student and Staff Art Exhibition to be held in the Student Centre Gallery, throughout semester one in the next academic year.
All current students and staff, along with ex-Staff and Alumni since June 2008, are welcome to submit 2D artwork. Please note:
- A maximum of 4 pieces of artwork can be submitted into the exhibition
- Entries can be of any media (e.g. photography, oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel, graphite, gouache, collage, digital, mixed, textile …)
- Entries must have rings attached to the back so that they can be hung using our hanging system (please note: clip frames are NOT suitable)
- Work can be put up for sale but will remain on display for the duration of the exhibition
If you would like to enter artwork into the exhibition click on the link below to fill out an application form. Please then return this, along with electronic images of the pieces you wish to submit, to visualart@winchester.ac.uk . Alternatively the form and images can be delivered to Trish Kernan in person but please email in advance to arrange this. We will then ask for the artwork itself to be given in after the summer holidays so that it can be hung early next semester.
The closing date for submissions is Monday 1st October 2012, with later entries being considered subject to space. Work chosen by a Selection Panel will be hung at the start of next semester. The Panel’s decision is final.
