Since opening in 2001 the Link Gallery has hosted an average of seven exhibitions a year, showing works by artists from the surrounding area or those with a connection to Wessex.
Located in the Winchester Business Centre on the West Downs campus, the Link Gallery is arranged over two floors providing an elegant light space available for exhbitions all year round. Gallery Dimensions: Lower & Upper Link Gallery 10.38m x 7.74m (at widest point) 2.74m (narrowest point).
The University charges a 20% commission on sales but there is no charge to artists to use in the gallery.
The gallery is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm; weekend hours may be restricted due to conferences or private functions taking place in the building, and we advise visotors to e-mail or phone to check before making a special trip. Entry to the gallery is free.
All proposals are considered by the Friends of Art Group and should include:
i) Preferred dates to exhibit
ii) Up-to-date CV including contact details
iii) An exhibition proposal (500 words max)
iv) Visual material that represents previous or current work (by email or link to a website where examples of work can be viewed)
