Compact partnerships
The University of Winchester is committed to encouraging and supporting all students who have academic potential and ability to progress to higher education.
We have therefore formed compact partnerships with a number of schools and colleges across the southern region. The University's role in forming this partnership is to:
- Pursue, with other regional providers of education, relationships which are of mutual benefit
- Support students who may need additional support to progress to higher education
- Develop a Regional Role
- Work with Rural communities
- Promote continuing and vocational Education
- Widen Access and Participation
- Work with local Schools and Colleges to develop a range of courses in academic and vocational areas
- Build up an excellent reputation within Winchester and the surrounding area
