Criminology at Winchester
Criminology is related to aspects of sociology, psychology, political science and law.
Students are part of a wider community of social scientists within the University, and the course addresses issues such as crime and deviance, crime and punishment, crime and the media, policing, crimes against humanity, miscarriages of justice, sex crime, organised crime and cybercrime.
In an exciting collaboration with University's Archaeology Department, it is also possible to explore the archaeological and forensic aspects of criminal investigation through the 'Forensic Archaeology' module.
