Registry is the central departmentfor supporting theacademic programmes operating within the University.Registry is responsible for:
- Giving advice on regulations, programmes of study, module selection procedures, timetables and student loans
- LEA matters, transfers, withdrawals and breaks in study, student grievances, complaints and appeals and procedures
- Providing timetables, proof of student status (useful for applying for exemption from council tax), University
- ID cards, module catalogues and module selection forms
- Issuing results and transcripts for current and former students
- Organising all graduation ceremonies, including the issuing of certificates and final transcripts
- Co-ordinating University examinations including special requirements, resits and deferments
- Enrolling all new students at the start of their programme of study at the University and re-enrolling continuing students at the beginning of each academic year
- Confirming student attendance to the Student Loans Company (UK/EU students only)
