The Diamond Jubilee Gambia Project

The initial campaign target of £20,000 has been raised! Thank you for all your hard work and generous donations. The new classrooms at Soma School were officially opened in February 2012.

We're not stopping here though! Hampshire Schools are invited to join us and continue efforts to raise money to improve educational opportunities for young people in Soma, The Gambia.

We are confident that you will have plenty of ideas about fundraising events based on your own past successes. You are encouraged to look at the Gambia Project page on the All Saints Junior School website and to contact Alison Wyld directly if you would like any further information about the All Saints Gambian projects.

Staff and students at the University are enthusiastically taking part in our own fundraising events and our donations will go towards the continuing appeal.

Donations

Cheques should be made payable to ‘University of Winchester’ and sent to:

Donations can also be made online at the Hampshire Diamond Jubilee Gambia Project page on the University’s Virgin Money Giving website
