Forum for the study of sexuality, gender, race and class

The forum was set up to add a crucial element to the study of sexuality, gender and religion, and that element is race.   

Introduction

The forum enables a larger conversation to occur and provides opportunities for an array of scholars from a number of disciplines to challenge theological assumptions in all areas. The forum has a number of associate members  and connections with international associations whose work falls within the areas mentioned.

The goals of the forum are:

  • Foster research and teaching of religion, gender, and sexuality through international network, and events and conferences
  • Connect with activists to impact grassroots community
  • Provide resources for academia and for exchange
  • Support publications through books and journals
  • To host an online journal
