Undergraduate Courses
Accounting
The Accounting and Finance degree new in 2009. This programme offers a wide range of exemptions from the professional examinations of some of the main accounting institutes, so that students can graduate and be a part qualified accountant as soon as they start their careers.
Politics
The Politics and Global Studies programme at Winchester aims to offer students the opportunity to understand the complex political and global issues which dominate the contemporary world.
Many of these involve the United States and its post-Cold War relations with other nations through tendencies such as economic globalisation, the rise of a global culture through technological interconnection, the intersections of global/regional/local politics and the alleged ‘clash of civilisations’. Within this context the United States is often seen to act as a global hegemony, ordering the contemporary global political environment.
