Rachel has afirst-class Honours degree in Health and SocialCarefrom the Open University.During her studies she continued to work in practice in various settings, managing homes and mentoring other managers working with people who had both physical impairments and learning difficulties.

Rachel is nowCity and Guilds Centre Director.

Research Interests

Rachel's main research interest is the needs of learners in Health and Social Care settings across Hampshire with a view to creating easier pathways into Higher Education for those least likely to access it.
