The Foundation of Legal Knowledge is made up of seven core subjects which are studied as modules over the course of the three-year programme:
- Public Law, including Constitutional Law, Administrative Law and Human Rights
- Law of the European Union
- Criminal Law
- Obligations I Contract and Restitution
- Obligations II Tort
- Property Law
- Equity and the Law of Trusts
Students must also study legal skills.
Additionally, law module options are offered at Levels 2 and 3 and typically include subjects such as:

- Human Rights
- Evidence
- Company Law
- Current Legal Issues
- Employment Law
- Family Law
