Placements and internships
The Winchester Business School offers undergraduate students the opportunity to undertake a one-year placement at the end of their second year. We are always keen to hear from employers wishing to employ a full-time business intern. Our Director of Employer Partnership Stella McKnight would be pleased to discuss placements further.
For businesses that would wish to consider a shorter-term graduate project, our Business Consulting module, managed by Mike Davies, enables our postgraduate students to work on a shorter, part-time internships on self-contained business problems. These projects have to work around full-time classes, so please make your needs known well in advance.

“Educational charity Basingstoke Consortium has worked with the University of Winchester for over five years – during that time their support has been invaluable, and the University has engaged on a number of levels. In practical terms staff and students have supported employability and STEM activities with local schools and colleges. On a strategic level, they have helped to shape and influence local programmes and have been involved in education/employer debates, on steering groups and in joint project bids. They are a valued long-term partner committed to the local community”.
