Designed with strong employer involvement, the aim of this new programme is to provide vocational study that meets the needs of individuals and employers.
The skills and knowledge developed are recognised by employers as being of great value for those working in a variety of management roles.
Throughout this programme all modules aim to focus on current management issues and challenges. These encourage students to consider innovative ways to implement change and further develop their management skills and leadership potential.
Students learn the main business management functions for example: to identify and analyse elements of the marketing mix, to prepare balance sheets, cash flow forecasts and budgets, to develop and appraise successful teams and deal to with issues of disciplinary and grievance. They also develop personal skills such as how to enhance communication skills, and maximise time and resources to achieve results. Students explore how organisations increase efficiency and effectiveness throughthe use of e-business and project management.
