We will engage in conceptual and empirical research that advances our understanding about the role, dynamics, and impact of corporations in the creation of sustainable social, environmental and economic value.

The School aims to advance understanding of the roles, dynamics and impacts of corporations in the creation of sustainable social, environmental and economic values through to conceptual and empirical research. All faculty departments: Accounting, Economics and Finance , PoliticsLaw  and Winchester Business School contribute to research on corporate social responsibility and responsible management.

Winchester Business School facilitates and supports the dialogue and ongoing debate amongst educators, business, government, consumers, media, civil society organisations and other interested groups on critical issues related to global social responsibility and sustainability.

  • Centre for Responsible Management
    In 2010, the School was proud to launch the Hoare Centre for Responsible Management, which aims to link research with practice in the area relevant to responsible leaders, organisations and communities.
  •  Responsible Management Education Working Paper Series
    In July 2010, the Winchester University Press launched the Responsible Management Education Working Paper Series (online and hard copy) that are aimed at sharing research and teaching experiences from Winchester.
  • Research Seminar Series The faculty organises a Research Seminar Series for staff that provides opportunities for external speakers and academic staff from the Business School to present and discuss their research with academic colleagues and students.
