Anna is a Senior Lecturer teaching on the BA Forensic Studies. She received her BA (Hons) in 2007 in Archaeology and Ancient History from the University of Exeter and completed her MSc in Forensic Archaeology and Anthropology from Cranfield University in 2008. Anna is currently working towards a PhD in the forensic and mortuary archaeology of contemporary death.
Anna is an operational forensic archaeologist working within a team tasked with the search, location and recovery of evidence subjected to clandestine deposition. Her case work has taken her around the UK working with numerous police constabularies.
Before joining the University of Winchester, Anna was a Lecturer in Forensic Science at Glyndwr University and taught traditional archaeology and forensics courses in continuing education departments for Reading University and the University of Oxford.
