Biography
I studied for my first degree at Birmingham University in Latin & Classical Archaeology (Special Honours) and postgraduate research thesis in Greek and Roman lamps (commissioned by Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery) in Dept of Archaeology, Birmingham University. Since then, I have focussed on lecturing in Greek and Roman Art, Architecture and Archaeology. I was lecturer at Leicester University (part time) 1987-1991, Open University London Region 1986-1992. Throughout this period and ongoing is my post of lecturer in Greek & Roman Art & Architecture and its influence on later periods for the History of Art Department, Birkbeck College, London University.
I have been Associate lecturer for University of Winchester Archaeology department 1996-2006, part time lecturer 2006 to present.
Extensive lecturing work has included, the British Museum Education Service, the National Gallery London, University of London Extra Mural History of Art Society, Study Centre for the History of Fine & Decorative Arts London, History of Art Studies, City Literary Institute London and Morley College.
