Biography
Nicola gained her first degree in English and American Literature and History from the University of Kent, and then moved to Royal Holloway in Egham to complete an MA in Medieval History, with a dissertation on the women at the court of Henry VII. She is currently studying for her PhD, also at Royal Holloway, on the women of the Howard family during the reign of Henry VIII.
Research Interests
The Tudor period, particularly the reigns of Henry VII and VIII.
Prosopography and genealogy. Gender history and court history across the late medieval and Tudor periods.
