The SHS publishes the annual journal Southern History, covering the historic southern counties of England.
These counties are Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Gloucester, Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Oxford, Buckingham, Berkshire, Surrey, Sussex and Kent.
