Research Interests
My research interest broadly concerns human colour vision from sensation to perception. A first line of research concerns the study of human sensitivity to comb-filtered spectra. These stimuli can be considered as models of natural colour signals and allow a direct determination of detection and discrimination performances without prior knowledge of the colour mechanisms sensitivity.
In parallel, my investigation also focusses on higher processing levels of colour perception, such as colour categorization, colour memory, colour naming and colour preference. By combining psychophysic and experimental psychology approaches, the objective is to gain a better understanding of how individual differences at sensory level are reflected at perceptive and cognitive levels.
