Within the Department for Teacher Development (DTD) we provide courses in:
PGCE Primary Education
The PGCE Primary is a postgraduate course of initial teacher training leading to the award of either Postgraduate Certificate in Education (includes M level credits) or Professional Graduate Certificate in Education, both including the recommendation of the award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). The PGCE course may be studied full-time over one year or part-time over two years

The PGCE Secondary RE is a flexible course, aimed at prospective teachers that allows each individual to develop their own study pattern based on an individual training plan drawn up at the beginning of the course.
