BA (Hons) Primary Education
This is an undergraduate programme that provides students with the opportunity to gain a degree and to complete the requirements leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
This innovative programme of undergraduate study aims to produce critically reflective practitioners able to understand the complexities of providing education for the twenty-first century.
We are committed to encouraging students onto the programme with a wide range of previous experience, from school leavers to mature students with considerable previous experience both within education and other fields.
Winchester is one of the largest providers of primary teacher training in the country. The programme’s success is built on strong partnerships with the schools where students will spend a significant proportion of their time. A high number of newly-qualified teachers in Hampshire and the South-East region are graduates from Winchester.
Our Open Day power point presentation provides an overview of the programme.
You will also find the course leaflet contains detailed information.
