The University of Winchester has an established reputation as a venue for conferences and events.
Our commitment to customer service and quality coupled with an extensive range of facilities ensures our reputation both in Winchester and indeed Hampshire remain second to none.
Divided between three campuses, two in Winchester and one in Basingstoke, we can offer nearly 1000 bedrooms, 80 conference rooms, and extensive catering and bar venues.
The King Alfred Campus
Offers the largest conference and dining facility. With the Stripe Complex, and the brand new University Centre the campus can accommodate conferences for up to 320 delegates. Accommodation, syndicate rooms, IT suites and exhibition space are all available on this site.
The West Downs Campus
Provides the majority of our accommodation with over 600 bedrooms, many of which are en-suite. Central to our conference operation,The West Downs Centre is located on this site, providing a contained conference facility this centre benefits from plenary rooms for up 150, 64 en-suite bedrooms, dining for 120 and bar facilities. The centre is a listed building and is a popular venue for weddings and celebrations, as well as conferences.
The Basingstoke Campus
Can provide conference facilities for up to 60 delegates, with breakout rooms, and IT suites readily available.
