The gym has been designed to provide all its users with a great workout.
Whatever your age or fitness the gym welcomes everyone to participate in exercise.
You don’t have to be a student to enjoy exercise at a fantastic price. There are also lockers and shower facilities within the human movement centre available for gym users.

What is the SPORT-FIT card?
The SPORT-FIT card provides a brilliant opportunity to access a number of sports facilities including the Fitness Suite, Sports Hall, Squash, Tennis and Badminton Courts as well as the Athletics Track at the Winchester Sports Stadium (subject to availability). This all-in-one package gives you the opportunity to keep fit in a number of ways in relaxed and friendly environments.

Q: Is it just students that can use the University gym?
A: Anyone can use the gym including members of the public.
Q: How can I pay for the gym?
A: You can pay for the gym by cash/cheque or card. Staff members can also have a deduction from salary if they wish.
Q: How old do I have to be to join the gym?
A: The minimum age requirement to use the gym is 16 years of age. If under 18, parental consent is required.
