Foundation degrees (FdA)

These are designed in partnership with employers to equip students for the workplace. Study is normally part-time.

Undergraduate study (BA/BSc/LLB)

This includes Bachelor Honours degrees (BA/BSc), plus their exit qualifications Diploa or Higher Education (DipHE) and University Certificates (Cert). Also top-up programmes. Study can be full-time or part-time.

Postgraduate study (MPhil/PhD/MA/MSc/MBA/PGCE)

This includes Masters degrees (MA/MSc/MBA) and their exit qualifications (PgDip and PgCert). Plus Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and research degrees (MPhil/PhD). Study can be full-time or part-time.

Professional and short courses

These are designed to continue professional development by building on knowledge and skills for action in the workplace. Study is normally part-time.
