Meet the Team
Head of International Recruitment
David is responsible for overseeing all of the work of the International Recruitment Team. He also has specific responsibility for students applying from for Norway, Japan and Hong Kong.
International Student Recruitment Advisor
Donna is responsible for students applying from the Americas and from Nigeria and for students who may be following less traditional routes into University.
International Student Recruitment Officer
Jamie is responsible for students applying from Africa, India, Malaysia, The Middle East, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam. He is also responsible for working with our UK-based international students and for developing and maintaining our links with International schools and college partners here in the UK.
Wei Liu (Will)
International Student Recruitment Officer
Will is responsible for working with students applying from across the EU, China, Taiwan and our partners based in those countries. He is also responsible for working with International students applying for postgraduate research.

If you tell us which country you are from then we can ask a student from your home country to respond.
The University hold a number of open days each year which provide a great opportunity to come and visit. For more information on the dates of our open days and how to book a place please click here. The open days are a good opportunity to see all aspects of the University. Most open days involve general information about the University followed by tours of the accommodation and campus, and course talks as well as talks on housing, finance, the students union, sports, societies and a range of other interesting areas.
If you would like to speak to a member of the International team during your visit to Winchester then please contact us to let us know you will be coming.
We warmly invite you to come and look around on a date convenient to you. The International Office can arrange an individual visit if you contact us and let us know when you will be visiting. Many international students visit us as part of a visit/holiday to the UK and we can usually arrange a schedule for you which includes a tour of campus, accommodation as well as a meeting with a lecturer/student from the subject you are interested in. You will usually be accompanied by a member of the International team who should be able to answer any questions you may have.
UCAS Education Conventions and University Fairs
The University attends a large number of education fairs and UCAS conventions, and holds talks and advice sessions at many schools and colleges throughout the year both in the UK and beyond. We would be happy to speak to you at an event so please ask your school if we are visiting or alternatively contact us and we can let you know which events we will be attending.
