CDs and DVDs

Music CDs

The library holds a wide range of music CDs that you can borrow, including contemporary popular music, classical, jazz and dance. These CDs can be searched for on our main library catalogue.

They are held on the top floor of the building next to the lift. Most of the CDs are available for 7 day loan and are renewable (though subject to recall).

Rental DVDs

The library provides a collection of rental DVDs, which are available for you to borrow for £1 a night. They can be found on the top floor of the library opposite the enquiries desk.

The collection is kept up to date with new releases and we advertise our newly acquired films via Twitter and Facebook. If you would like to be kept up to date with news of these films and other developments in our collection visit www.twitter.com/uniwinlibrary or become a fan of the University of Winchester Library on Facebook.

Reference DVDs

The library also provides a large collection of reference DVDs to assist study. These DVDs are held in our main collection and are clearly marked as reference only. They cannot be taken out of the building, but can be watched within the library, either on a PC (please provide your own headphones) or in a study room.
