Study rooms
The library has 7 study rooms that can be used for individual or group study. Each room contains a PC, a large table with chairs, pin board, TV, DVD and VHS player. One of our top floor study rooms also has a height adjustable table for wheelchair users.
To use one of these rooms, please visit the enquiry desk. They are issued on a 'first come, first served' basis and so are not able to be booked in advance. The room keys and remote control are issued to you for 3 hours and fines will be incurred if you exceed this time. You must have a valid University I.D. card with you to use these rooms and any outstanding fines from us or any other University department will need to be paid in full before you can borrow the keys.
Please note that whilst we provide these rooms for group study they are not sound proof. Therefore we politely request that users be aware of their noise level when using the study rooms and respect the need for quiet study by others in the main library.
