Explore the Winchester experience – Postgraduate Open Evening
The University of Winchester is hosting a Postgraduate Open Evening on Wednesday 15 September. It is an opportunity for potential students to find out more about the range of postgraduate qualifications on offer, including Masters degrees (MA, MSc, MRes and MBA), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCEs) and Early Years Professional Status (EYPS).
Those attending the Open Evening will be able to speak to lecturers about the Masters degree they are interested in and there will be course talks on EYPS at 5.15pm and PGCEs at 6.15pm. In addition, there will be advice and information available about student support, admissions and student finance.
Most postgraduate courses are available full-time and part-time. There are still places available for September 2010 entry on some Masters degrees. The PGCEs are now only available for 2011 entry.
“The Open Evening is an ideal time to find out more about studying at postgraduate level at the University of Winchester,” commented Professor Elizabeth Stuart, Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Winchester. “People choose to study on a postgraduate programme for all kinds of reasons – to enhance their employability, to pursue a passion for a particular subject area or in preparation for a higher degree.
“Whether you have just completed your first degree, been out of higher education for a while or have experience which would prepare you for postgraduate education, we hope that you will come and talk to us about the opportunities at Winchester.”
The Postgraduate Open Evening is on Wednesday 15 September from 5-8pm in The Stripe, King Alfred Campus, Sparkford Road, Winchester. To book your place or find out more information please visit www.winchester.ac.uk/postgraduateopenevenings or email opendays@winchester.ac.uk
