Goddess is the intelligent embodied love that is in all being. Feminist Theology matters not only because it affirms the minds, spirits, and bodies of one-half of the human race, but also because it affirms that this world is our true home and that human beings are connected to all other beings in the web of life.
Goddess and God in the World: Why Feminist Theology Matters is the second lecture in the ITP's Exploring Aspects of the Feminine Divine series.
Carol P. Christ is a founding voice in the study of women and religion and the author of the first Goddess thealogy, Rebirth of the Goddess and most recently Goddess and God in the World: Conversations in Embodied Theology with Judith Plaskow, and A Serpentine Path: Mysteries of the Goddess. She has run for regional and national office with the Green Party Greece.
