Climate change, migration, civil society and the role of business: Caught in the headlights or behind the wheel?
We are delighted to welcome Professor Jonathan Gosling to Winchester who has an international reputation in the field of leadership studies.
Jonathan has a penetrating, informed, inspiring and original view of climate change. He shows how we are all going to be affected by the side effects of climate change, such as mass migration, in ways that are rarely discussed in the media.
Jonathan started work as a mediator in neighbourhood conflicts in London and founded the UK‘s first community mediation service. After taking a mid-career MBA, he moved into management education at Lancaster University. He co-founded, with Henry Mintzberg a new approach to management education, the International Masters in Practising Management. Jonathan then joined Exeter where he headed Executive Education for several years.
In 2009/10 Jonathan collaborated with Jean-Paul Jeanrenaud at WWF International to co-found the One Planet MBA, the first MBA designed explicitly to build on the implications of a fundamental but seldom-questioned assumption: that we have just one planet - and we’ve all got to get along on it!
Do come along to be moved, shaken and stirred – this is a presentation that you will never forget!
