This research centre coordinates work on literature, film, media and other forms of culture within, and especially across disciplinary boundaries.

RED (Research into Expanded Dramaturgies)

This group aims to research and to advocate the development of ‘expanded’ dramaturgies. By this term (taken from Eckersall 2006) we imply both the diversity of emerging performance forms and structures and the related practices of the 21st century dramaturg.

Centre for Research into Language

The new Centre for Research into Language acts as an interdisciplinary hub bringing together the Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Education Studies in the united interest of language growth, use and processing.

Centre for Research into the Arts as Well-Being

This centre aims to research and advocate the development of projects in the performing arts and well-being. This includes the relationship between the individual and the wider society, so will embrace the social, spiritual and political aspects of well-being and the effect of the inculcation of societal values on the individual.
