If you choose to live in catered accommodation you will be in a purpose built halls of residence situated on the King Alfred Campus, which is where most lectures, the University Centre (Student Union) and library are based. Catering is on a part-board basis (approx. 14 meals per week). Students use a catering card that is topped up weekly to purchase meals from the University catering outlets. In addition to the Food Hall, students can purchase meals from the Learning Cafe and Games Room in the University Centre.
There is also a shop and laundrette on campus.
There are three halls of residence: St Elizabeths Hall, Alwyn Hall and Beech Glade. Each offers larger than average single study bedrooms with wash basins, shared kitchenettes and bathroom facilities. Beech Glade is a designated quiet hall.
