Tuition fees - PGCE

Your tuition fees go towards funding the various resources associated with taking a course at the University of Winchester.

The University will be able to provide the resources, staff contact and support you need and deserve. It means that you will benefit from more contact with staff, first-class teaching equipment and an attractive learning environment.

We are very proud of the student experience at Winchester and we aim to make it even better for our students over the next few years.

Please note that as a student progresses onto further years of study (where the course is longer than one year in length), the tuition fees are normally subject to annual inflationary increases.

Full time

In 2012/13, The full time Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) will have tuition fees of £8,500. Students on this course will also be eligible for the University's support package.

Part-time/ Flexi

Students on these courses are billed and receive funding equivalent to that offered to Part Time Undergraduate students.

From September 2012/13 Undergraduate students are charged £1,065 per 15 credit module and this will be pro rata for Part Time/Flexi PGCE modules which are normally 20 credits. This results in a net modular fee of approximately £1,420.  The PGCE has 6 (20 credit) modules.
