Tuition fee loans
UK and EU full time students do not have to pay fees upfront before starting their course or while they are studying as they are entitled to a Tuition Fee Loan. You can apply for a loan to cover all or part of your fees and only start to pay it back when you are earning at least £21,000.

Maintenance Loans and Grants
UK full time students can also apply for loans and non-repayable grants to cover their living costs while they are studying.
The amount you receive depends on your household income:
- A loan of up to £5,500 per year will be available if you live away from home while you study.
- A loan of up to £4,375 per year will be available if you live with your parents.
- If your household income is equal to or under £42,611 you could be entitled to a grant of up to £3,354 per year to cover your living costs, which you would not have to pay back.
