Recognising your excellence
Eligible students entering in 2013/14 will receive a monetary award per year (subject to continued academic achievement each year), which they can choose to take as either a cash or fee waiver.
There is also potential for entry onto the Winchester Scholars scheme, details of which can be found here.
There are 3 levels of award, based on your entry grades. Those levels are:
- £2,000 per year and entry to the Winchester Scholars Scheme
- £1,000 per year and entry to the Winchester Scholars Scheme
- £1,000 per year

How do I apply?
There is no separate application process for the Academic Achievement Award. Eligibility for this award will not depend on household income. Successful students will be notified within the first weeks of term.
All new students should initially apply for the full £8,500 tuition fee loan from Student Finance England unless they wish to self-fund part or all of the course. Fee waivers will be applied later in the academic year.
