National scholarship programme

The University of Winchester will be offering additional fee waivers to our top 61 full time students

Fee waivers will be offered to English domicile full time foundation degree students with a household income under £25,000 who can demonstrate academic achievement. The top 61 academic achievers could be entitled to the following fee waiver:

*Awards in the second year will be based on continuing academic performance as assessed by evaluating students' average mark at the end of the previous academic year.

How do I apply?

For full time students, there is no separate application process for the National Scholarship Programme. Elibility of first year students will be decided on the basis of the income assessment carried out by Student Finance England and grades achieved in the student's final exams.

All student should initially apply for the full £8,500 tuition fee loan unless they wish to self-fund all or part of the year. Fee waivers will be applied later in the academic year.
