Learning and Teaching Strategy
The purpose of this strategy is to guide learning, teaching and assessment practices across the University. It impacts on many issues and areas, from estates, recruitment, widening participation, to research, administration and management.
Learning, Teaching and Assessment Strategy 2009-11
At the heart of all the University’s learning and teaching activities is its commitment to its Mission Statement which seeks ‘To educate, to advance knowledge and to serve the public good’. This mission manifests itself in the Learning, Teaching and Assessment Strategic Plan, which contains four strategic priorities:
- Learning opportunities
- Teaching within the University assessment
- Employability
- Life-long learning
