Events and conferences
Meeting up with people who are interested in Learning and Teaching and sharing knowledge is one of the key ways that staff can develop as practitioners, so the University of Winchester organises various events that encourage the creation of a community of best practice.
The LTDU organises a series of events that help staff in their CPD as well as promoting excellent practice in Learning and Teaching across the University. Some of these are one-off training events to introduce, for example a new piece of teaching software or equipment, others such as CET (Collaborative Enhancement of Teaching) lunches are more social, while events such as the L&T development days that run twice a year are in a similar format to conferences. All these events give staff important opportunities to share information with each other and network with practitioners from outside the University, strengthening and extending our links.
