At Winchester, Foundation degrees are part-time programmes that offer flexible study, and we welcome applications from people who may not have previously thought that higher education was for them. Often students are already in work and a Foundation degree gives you the skills you need to further develop in the workplace by helping you put your knowledge and skills into action.
How to apply
We welcome applications from students from a wide variety of backgrounds and academic experience.
Applicants must apply direct to the University using the Direct Entry Application Form. Application forms can be obtained from Course Enquires and Applications. Applications are considered in order of receipt until it is estimated that the programme is full so we encourage to candidates to apply as soon as possible. Applications must be received by the University at least 30 days prior to the start of the programme. Most programmes begin in late September although some have a second intake in February.
