Responsible management is the central theme running through the programme and incorporates the issues of value creation, ethics, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, employee wellbeing and global impact. The need to prepare students for likely changes in working and employment practices in the twenty-first century is a key aspect of the programme’s philosophy and content. The programme guides students’ learning of contemporary theories, practices, tools and drivers for sustainable business in an international context.
Graduates learn how to develop and implement management sustainability policies in order to play an effective role in shaping future business practice and leading and managing change.
It is anticipated that an innovative feature of the programme will be that the modules are developed and delivered by a range of academics across an international partnership of academic institutions.

Students are encouraged to engage with academic literature, case studies and each other by reflecting on their own managerial and business experiences. The programme
makes extensive use of online collaborative teaching tools to supplement and support classroom-based interactions. A focus of the programme is to apply skills to solve real-life problems in business.
The programme structure allows for innovative assessment practice and the inclusive assessment strategy deploys a variety of methods in order to improve the quality of learning and give students a greater opportunity to demonstrate their true potential.
The programme prepares students for a career in sustainable development in the private and public sectors as well as the third sector.
