Timeline for application

Checking and confirmation happens throughout the process to ensure eligibility and credit-worthiness, that all documents are originals, details correct, and signatures are genuine.

The University will contact you if there is anything we know you have to do. Some lenders are inexperienced in handling foreign schools and do not know we have no electronic access for certification/confirmation, so you also need to periodically check with your lender that they are not waiting for something but have not told anyone. The table below shows what happens and roughly how long it takes, and the process for private loans, which is the same but usually skips the first few steps which were done earlier.
