Biography
In June 2008 I will graduated with a BA in Theatre Studies combined with Dance and Choreography.
Although I have British citizenship (my father is from London and my mother from Barbados) I was born in Munich in Germany and grew up there. In Munich I attended the Bavarian International School. After that I decided to go to England to continue my studies and so I went to the William Morris Academy College in London to take my A-Levels before applying to the University of Winchester to take a three-year degree. The course is very challenging and motivating.
I decided on the University of Winchester because it was highly recommended for the area of studies I was interested in.
The facilities of the university really cater for all the interests of the students, regardless of what they are, and this is down in no small part to the supportive teaching staff. In addition the university has a good student union which organises interesting events in the newly-opened building called “The University Centre”.
I really like Winchester as a historical city – it even used to be the capital of England! It’s easy to reach Winchester from London and Southampton and it’s also known for its famous cathedral which has been used as an impressive backdrop in many films.
The University of Winchester is definitely an outstanding place to study and I am having a really wonderful time here.
