Coming for an interview

How to find us:

Parking at the University is very limited and so we encourage applicants, where possible, to travel to their interview by public transport.

If parking is required a visitors parking permit must be obtained from reception.

Presentations

If you have been asked to do a presentation powerpoint facilities will be made available to you.  Should you require any equipment in addition to this, please make sure you let the HR department know as soon as possible.  It will not be possible to arrange additional equipment on the day of the interview. 

Specific Requirements

We want to ensure that your interview experience is as easy and worry free as possible, so please ensure that you let the HR department know if you have any specific requirements in relation to the interview process.

The Interview

We know that coming for an interview is a nerve wracking experience, and we aim to make all candidates feel as at ease as possible when they come to the University of Winchester.

The interview is your opportunity to sell yourself and your skills and experiences to the interview panel, so make sure you are prepared. Read through the job description and person specification and think about how you can relate your skills and experience to the role that you have applied for. Also think of any questions that you would like the interview panel to answer.

Remember to report to Reception 10 minutes before your interview, and if you are delayed or no longer able to attend your interview please let the HR department know.

Interview Expenses

Please note that the University does not normally pay interview expenses to candidates.
