Biography

Dr Amanda Boulter is Senior Lecturer in English. She has a first class BA in English Literature, an MA in Modernism and Romanticism (with distinction) and a PhD in English, specialising in feminist theory and feminist science fiction, all from the University of Southampton. She came to Winchester in 1995 and has loved working here ever since. She was part of the team that established Creative Writing as a new discipline at Winchester at postgraduate and undergraduate level, and she now teaches both English Literature and Creative Writing. She is currently writing her third novel.
